Me

I'm Tejas, or just Tay, a British problem solver with a passion for Design Engineering.  I'm intrigued by function & form and I strive to design and engineer products that combine these.

Currently I'm a third year Product Design Engineering student at Loughborough University, for me Product Design Engineering is the perfect balance of the technical theory of engineering and  innovative, aesthetic creativity that is design.

I have spent the last year working at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains as a Manufacturing Engineer. Working at the champion winning F1 manufacturer has given me an incredible wealth of engineering knowledge, working to incredibly tight time-scale combined with equally tight tolerances.

Achieving excellence is something I constantly strive, as a result of this I was  awarded the ‘Wolfson School Merit Prize’ for the best overall manufacturing engineering results of any first year student; this was further acknowledged when I was nominated for the Sir William Siemens medal award, recognising engineering excellence.
